Kick it up a notch
BAM!....ok, so I've been watching a little too much Emeril, lately, alright?
Anway, on to business: this would be my first Blog...ever, so, I might as well start off with a little bit about myself (yeah...sounds good...my brain is dead, right now -.-' )
Well, first off, I'm a Geek. Yes, I admit it, I'm proud of this fact, I am enlightened. I quote movies, shows, songs, plays; pretty much anything I've memorized and I've memorized quite a bit, so far (in fact, one bit in the second sentance of this paragraph is from a movie....cookies to the first person to say which one!!! ^0^ ) I love Anime, am facinated by different cultures (yes, that includes those in a dish), I am a Drama Rat, I like working with and learning about computers and cars, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Speaking of cars, I will now begin with what blogging is supposed to be about: blogging.
It all started yesterday... *que funky flashback wavies* I was out the door and on my way to an interview when my car refused to start. It wouldn't even turn over, there wasn't even a sputter, nothing. I ended up calling the place I had the interview and posponing it untill the next day (which happened to be today). My friend lent me his truck so I was able to go. After all the wonderful, wonderful driving about town (note the sarcasm) my friend and I went to look at my car and he figured out that it was the starter. We went and got a new one and set to work. I spent the latter half of the day quite litterally up to my elbows in grease ^-^
Finally, having to fight with one particular bolt that decided it wanted to be a pain and hide itself from the wratchet amongst pipes and wires, we finished. I tried starting it, and it rumbled to life once again ^.^ My car was running, my hands were black and my shirt and face specked, and I was happy.
Ah, don't we all love happy endings?? Too bad life isn't always like that -.-; (but it just wouldn't be as interesting that way, ne?)
Anyway! I think I've done enough dammage for today, er...tonight, rather, so I shall bid you all good night. *bows*
.....now for a shower.
